Twas The Week Before Christmas

 What can I say?

It's been a week.😬

Trying to adjust to the fact that the rail trail is pretty much off limits to me until ......Spring? My goal is to make this Christmas the first one in 4 years that I have not screwed up my knee. So we're sticking to the road for now. Blah.

Trying to make the most of it and appreciate the beauty to be found there.
Even though I have only been able to get Freddi to go so far. Basically to Sam's mailbox and then that's it. Oh well, it's a 30 minute walk, and it does include a small hill. Working my way up to the big ones.

I'm drinking caffeine this morning with my iced coffee as I write, hoping that I don't pay for it later with tight anxiety in my chest later.

On Monday I was picking Jonas up at 10:30 p.m. from his friend Jacob's house where the Magic group had migrated to. He apologized for keeping me up so late, but said that he also had a lot of fun.
It has been so nice to see him out and about socializing with his peers. It makes my heart happy.

Today I am taking Jonas to the Book Garden in Montpelier so he can get Christmas gifts for Wyatt and Declan. And he has a hair appointment with Ellen at 3:00.
Mental note to self: make an appointment for myself while we are there.

And tomorrow........
I'm meeting Micaela at the Danville Inn for breakfast.
Weather permitting.🀞🀞
I hope it cooperates as I'm really looking forward to it.

After class last night I have now faced the harsh reality that I need to actually track daily AND track calories. Because NOT doing it is NOT helping me lose weight.
Clearly.πŸ˜’
We had a substitute last night and it was a little clunky, but we got through.
And the point was still clear.
Track.
And Hydrate.
